The hanging birdcage – part of the Sighting performance cycle – creates the stage for an intimate one-to-one performance of recanted narrative, titled A little bird told me. Three female actors trained by the artist will adapt and reformulate Arjona’s texts, offering a new version of the work, which was previously presented at FLORA ars + natura in 2015. The sessions will occur on the following Mondays in April: 16, 23, and 30. Visitors can only enact this work during a scheduled time confirmed by the museum. To participate, please make an appointment The work’s protocol is as follows:

The spectator will be guided to the birdcage by an assistant. He or she will sit on the stool and be blindfolded. The cage will go down. The sound will begin. The interpreter enters the room to deliver the story. The story will end. The cage will go up. The interpreter leaves the space. The spectator will be in her head. The spectator will leave the space.
